Crosbie has experimented with a variety of colors but enjoys staying true to nature, creating the essence of jellyfish that live in our waters around the world. Crosbie painstakingly creates and adds the different nuances so that they look like those of an actual jellyfish captured for an instant while moving through the sea. The movement he captures in his jellyfish is astounding, their tentacles free-flowing and their bodies undulating to move them upward. Crosbie’s jellyfish creations rival the beauty found in natural marine life. The real mystery is how such movement can be created by the master-glassblower in this solid medium.
