Doug Merritt 

Doug Merritt is a master glass blower who specializes creating beautiful floral vases, bowls, perfume bottles, and paperweights by capturing minute details of the flowers. Merritt has served on the Board of Directors of the Creative Glass Center of America and lectured students about his craft throughout the country.  Merritt’s glassworks are featured in many prominent museums and private collections around the world including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Toledo Museum, the Wheaton Museum of American Glass, and the Smithsonian Institute. Merritt has been blowing glass for approximately four decades, continually experimenting and perfecting his technique.  Merrit’s glass art is timeless and classical full of beauty and grace that is reflected through his floral gardens and organic forms. From his arranged bouquet vases to his tulip bowls, he will amaze you with his talent for capturing the natural beauty and richness of these plants within his glasswork.
